For standard C I would suggest either a light 5 string set (120-40) and ditch the last string, custom a set from someone like Bass Strings Online or Just Strings, or maybe take a look at DRs DDT sets. For my drop C tuning a use a .120 or .125 on the C and then a heavy 4 string set on the remaining ones (90, 70, 50).

If you absolutely need to do both C-standard and EADG, I'd recommend setting up for C, then tuning down a half step to BEAD when you need to play in standard tuning. .120 or .125 on your low string should do the trick. Back in the day you needed to get a 5-string set and toss the G.
